Introduction to biomechanics of musculoskeletal system. Anatomy, tissue material properties. Kinematics, dynamics, and control of joint/limb movement. Analysis of forces/motions within joints. Application to injury, disease. Treatment of specific joints, design of orthopedic devices/implants. Prereq: (BmEn 3011 or equivalent, CSE upper division) or CSE grad student
