Building from summer coursework, we will examine three major themes of social studies teaching:
? Establishing classroom community and building relationships with students
? Designing and implementing authentic instruction and tasks
? Combining theory building and application as material learned in this course aims to support and be a companion to fall placements
? Supporting the pre-student teaching experience
