Managing the built environment is crucial for occupant health. The course will cover the latest research findings and innovative technologies designed to enhance indoor environments, including advanced ventilation systems and air purification methods. It will also focus on how buildings integrate with their surrounding environment, exploring how geology, outdoor air, and activities in nearby buildings affect indoor spaces. Additionally, the course will emphasize the economic and productivity benefits of healthy buildings, illustrating how improved indoor conditions can lead to better cognitive function, reduced absenteeism, and overall well-being.
