CSCI8615: Visualization and AI: Interpretability, Interactivity, and Beyond

This course explores the intersection of visualizations and AI, with a particular focus on leveraging visualization techniques to enhance the interpretability and interactivity of AI models, as well as to facilitate effective human-AI collaboration. This course features a combination of lectures, presentations, and interactive discussions centered on selected papers. You will apply the concepts learned in class through paper digests, hands-on programming exercises, and final projects. Prereq: Familiarity with data visualization, javascript, and machine learning is highly recommended.
