DES1911: Park Architecture

This course explores spatial and political issues in Park Architecture, “Parkitecture.” Explore the built environments and wilderness of the National Parks. Deepen your understanding of the parks by researching historical and contemporary contexts. Gain first-hand observation opportunities and experience through travel to parks near the Twin Cities. Expand your understanding of architecture through studying the materials, purposes, and experiential designs of parkitecture.
