Greece provides a unique cultural environment in which to explore color, light, and form. Students will immerse themselves in a climate of light and form by observing and experiencing water, stone, and structure in a fresh way. Students will explore ancient architectural forms, uniquely evolved historic villages, and references to mythological and symbolic imagery.
This course will provide students with an opportunity to develop creative thinking and practice as well as build visual acuity. Students will examine color theory and the history of BLUE while studying creative thought processes. Drawing and Watercolor are the vehicles through which the majority of this learning occurs.
