EDHD2701: Planning for Your Career

This course is designed to help CEHD students navigate the often overwhelming process of choosing a major and discovering career paths. Through self-reflection, in-class discussions, activities, and assignments, students will explore how their unique identities, skills, interests, and experiences shape their career decision-making. The course emphasizes building relationships, defining personal success, and preparing for internships and other career-related opportunities, such as part-time jobs, undergraduate research, and shadowing. By the course's end, students will understand career exploration clearly, have actionable steps to gain relevant experiences, and make confident decisions about their careers.
