HSM3521: Healthcare Delivery Systems

Healthcare Delivery Systems offers an introduction to the complex U.S. healthcare system for students interested in healthcare management. The course includes history, current trends, and future implications of our healthcare system in a dynamic multi modal setting. Through interactive in-class individual and group work, students will explore various sectors of the healthcare delivery system and industry including professions, finance, quality, regulatory compliance, mental health, health information systems, insurance, legal, economics and global healthcare, among others.
