HSM4531: Human Resources in Healthcare Management

3 Credits

This course provides a foundational understanding of human resource management within healthcare organizations. Topics include workforce planning, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, workforce equity and inclusion, and performance management. Students will explore strategies for building and motivating an engaged healthcare workforce while navigating key legal and regulatory principles for inclusive excellence. Emphasis is placed on aligning human capital management with organizational objectives to enhance operational effectiveness and patient care outcomes.
