This course provides knowledge and skills in the organizational and managerial aspects of healthcare administration. This writing intensive course provides applications of behavioral and organizational theory to healthcare settings with topics including: organization models, supervision, employee evaluation, problem solving, productivity management, group leadership, and case studies. The course will provide students with management-level communication skills to develop a thoughtful and reflective understanding of the writing (and rewriting) process for effective healthcare leadership.
