INET4011: Networking I: Network Infrastructure and Administration

4 Credits

A combination of networking theory (lecture and expert guest speakers) and application (lab work). Topics include network architecture, switching, routing, algorithms, protocols, infrastructure hardware, cable plant, security, and network management. Prereq: INet 4002 or CSci 4211 Students in ITI, ICP, or BIS majors should take INet 4002 as the prerequisite. CSCI majors can take CSci 4211 as the prerequisite.
