INET4041: Networking II: Next-Gen Networking Technologies

This course explores the latest advancements in enterprise networking, including network design, network security, network troubleshooting, and the implementation of scalable and redundant infrastructures. This course also introduces emerging technologies such as software-defined networking (SDN), network automation, and programmability, to reflect current industry developments. Students will use Cisco Network Academy resources throughout the course, including simulation-based labs, assessments, and professional development modules aligned with Cisco certification pathways such as the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Upon completing INET 4041, the course will also provide students with an opportunity to further self-study and gain conceptual knowledge and practical skills required for the latest Cisco? Certified Network Associate (CCNA?) exam. Prerequisite: INET 4002 and INET 4011.
