JOUR4243: Digital Content Development and Production for Brand Communications

This course focuses on the conceptual and practical skills necessary for strategic communication practitioners, especially those focused on careers in public relations, corporate communications, and sponsored content generation, to create, produce, publish, and distribute content for brands. The course addresses new technologies for branded storytelling including various forms of online video, longer form digital content such as blogs and web sites, and social media community content created for social platforms. The course also incorporates elements of user experience and graphic design and the skills necessary to adapt and modify content in an iterative process after analyzing audience data.
