This class will teach advanced reporting skills through hands-on experience, professional oversight and thoughtful discussions with working journalists. Classes will be held at news organizations, where students will also work directly with editors to produce news, features or other content. That work experience will be complemented in weekly sessions by readings, projects and discussions and with journalists. Students apply to this course and completion of Jour 3121 is encouraged. Applications are available in the HSJMC student services office about a month before registration begins.
