In this foundation course, learners will develop skills and tools to lead a resilient, ethical, and collaborative approach to advanced level nursing practice and sustainably driven quality improvement. This course provides an overview of global systemic and historical factors which have influenced the eco-socio-cultural health of communities and the standards of competence outlined by the AACN Essentials for Advanced Level Nursing Education. In this course, students will develop plans for flourishing at both individual and macro system levels and will explore advocacy, policy, and culturally supportive interventions as it relates to advanced nursing practice.
