This course provides foundational knowledge of the occupational therapy profession by examining the history, philosophy, and language of occupational therapy, occupation-based models and frameworks, activity and occupational analysis, and an introduction to the use of occupations as therapy. The Occupational Therapy Practice Framework is introduced as the guide for domain and process as well as key concepts for occupational therapy profession.
