RUSS 3102 is the final course in the six-semester Russian language sequence and is aimed at people who have taken RUSS 3101 or the equivalent. In this course, we read late Soviet and post-Soviet short fiction, watch and discuss films, and examine many kinds of authentic texts, from social media posts and online discussions of current issues to podcasts, political speeches, interviews with writers, and poetry. By the end of this course, you should feel confident expressing yourself in speech and writing, and you should feel ready to continue improving your Russian by reading, watching, and listening to authentic texts and having conversations with native speakers.
