SCO6292: Global Operations Capstone

4 Credits

The objective for this course is to teach critical thinking and the application of analytical skills to solve a real-life business challenge in a global operations context. Students will use all their previous experience, knowledge, skills, and tools acquired during the MS SCM program to provide a solution to the business predicament faced by an external client. The project objectives are accomplished by conducting face to face interviews, data analysis, and research to build a supply chain model customized to the client’s business operation. This course enhances student understanding of the strategic nature of decision making in the supply chain field and prepares them to lead complex projects in their current or future workplace.
