Have you ever wondered how actors learn all those lines? Or if you could convincingly perform a character that doesn’t have your values or beliefs? In Acting for Non-Majors, you’ll be able to safely explore these questions and you don’t need to have any prior acting/stage experience. You’ll develop a vocabulary for discussing theater and recognize how studying acting can form new perceptions about yourself and others. You’ll be given opportunities to experiment with a variety of acting techniques and styles through exercises, readings, writings, rehearsals, and performances.
