Participants in this course will have an opportunity to meet and hear from a variety of veterinarians, faculty and staff from the community and the University of Minnesota?s College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM). Topics will provide a broad overview of the field of veterinary medicine including specialties in veterinary medicine, current issues that impact veterinarians, what is involved in navigating the path to pursuing a career as a veterinarian, and how to determine if veterinary medicine is a field you wish to pursue.
